Hi, I am planning to go to Riyadh for a new job in January 2020. Can my children join an international school at the start of the second term? Has anybody had the same experience? Thank you. M Abu Safieh

Hi M Abu Safieh,

Though it shouldn't be impossible to enroll a child into an international school later in the year, it may be much more difficult than enrolling before the start of a school year. International schools tend to be very popular and getting a spot doesn't come easy. Enrolling your child later in the year will probably depend on whether there is a spot available or not.

Do you already have a school that you are interested in for your child? The best option for a clear answer would be to contact the school directly. You can have a look at our page on International Schools in Riyadh for a list of recommended schools.
