Hello!

My name is Reena. I am Indian passport holder. I have been working in Germany for 2-3 years. My German visa expires on 28th Feb 2019. I will get a work contract in Prague in the next couple of days which will start from 1st April 2019. My question is where can I apply the visa from. Is it possible to apply from Germany or Prague? Also, can I get visa for the month of March also so that I don't need to go back to India in March and come back to Prague in April?

Hi Reena

Have you contacted your nearest embassy for the Czech Republic yet? Securing a visa is a complicated process, and it is always best to contact your nearest embassy for advice on your specific situation.

Have a look at our guides to visas and work permits in the Czech Republic for some basic overviews of the application process and the different types of visas which you may be eligible for.

Hope this helps!
