I am a US citizen and I've been traveling back and forth from the US and UK for the last 3 years. I have a partner in the UK and want to live here and after reading all about working here in the UK and Work Visas, I am still confused as to where to start. For instance, what is the very first step I need to take? How do I find a company willing to sponsor an American? Are there any American expats here in the UK that would want to meet me in person to give me advice?
