Hi there, Some years ago I was offered and accepted an attractive job in Oman, but somewhere between the description and TOR's that for the job I had applied for and the contract I was subsequently offered, the TOR's were altered, most notably once I was in country with residency and work permits issued the salary was reduced by approximately 40%. Not being aware of Oman's favorable labor laws, and with the possibility of not being free to leave in the case of raising a dispute, I left the country without giving notice to my employer. By this time 2 months had passed and I had no payroll number and had not received anything but bank cheques that didn't relate to either contract anyway. I was not impressed. Question is, what would I need to do if I wanted to return to Oman for work ? Is there an automatic cancellation after period of time that would allow me to return for work, or must I actually do something about the original visa ? Many thanks for any help on this, Paul
