Hi TSL,

A salary of USD 1,400 is pretty decent in Mozambique especially if you have housing and transport provided for you.

I don't think you'll struggle with that salary but obviously the amount you save will depend on your lifestyle. Local food will be very cheap but if you want to eat out at more international joints then you should expect to pay more.

If you want to make the most of what Mozambique has to offer then you'll need to be willing to spend money. But while you are there don't hold back - learn to dive, take part in water sports and go on safari...to make the most of your expat experience.

Enjoy Mozambique !
