Travellers do need a visa for short trips to Turkey - but these are easy to arrange and most times can be organised and paid for at your port of entry into Turkey. If you're worried about it, rather arrange the visa before hand through your nearest Turkish embassu or consulate - but bear in mind that this may be more time consuming and can cost you more than it would if you get your visa at the airport on arrival.
