Hi

I am travelling to Italy in June and was wondering about transport options between cities. I would like to travel between Florence, Rome and Milan. Can anyone suggest the best way to do this?

Thank you

Hi Phil

Italy's public transport system is extensive and very efficient. There are many options for getting around Italy and inter-city travel. You could hire a car and drive, take a bus, train or plane. All are viable options depending on how much money you would like to spend and how quickly you need to reach your destination.

Have a look at our transport and driving in Italy page for detailed information about each transport option. Additionally, have a read of our getting around in Rome page for more information on navigating the city.

I hope you have a lovely trip!
