I am A British Citizen in Oslo hoping to legally migrate and live here. How do I go about obtaining health care if I were to need it?

Hi Paul

Have a look at our Healthcare in Norway and Healthcare in Oslo pages, as well as some of the pages that link off of our Oslo Healthcare page.

After working in the country for a year, you will be required to contribute to national health insurance, which would entitle you to free healthcare.

In the meantime you may want to consider applying for a European Health Insurance card.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck,

Xavier
