Hi, I'm vamshi from India, I would like to work, in other words settle in SA, working in software company on background testing tools (automation).

How can I apply for a visa without an employer in SA? I heard that there is a lot of opportunities in IT field, that is the reason i want to try to work in SA, so please help me to take the next step.

thank you cayley ,can you please tell me the process to apply for SAQA certification of my educational documents,i have read in SA website photo copy of certificates with stamp of commissioner of oaths or attorney..where do i get that stamp n how?

Hi Vamshi,

Do you have the qualifications necessary to work in IT in South Africa? They will need to be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before you are employed.

Hi Joshua,

For a General Work Visa you would need to have secured a job offer first. If your profession is on the skills shortage list, you may be eligible for a Critical Skills Visa. You can check the official document here to find out if your profession is on the list.
