Hi BusyMom,

Check out the Expat Arrival's page on International Schools in Cape Town. It has a comprehensive details of international schools in the Cape and you'll also find details on the different curriculums etc.

Tha main difference between ISCT and AISCT is that the former follows the British curriculum and the later, the American curriculum. Where your children have been educated in the past will also play a role in which school you opt to send them to. Having your child follow the same curriculum that they did back home will probably play a big role in them having a smooth transition to life in a new city.

ISCT has a world-class reputation and is seen as one of the best international schools in Cape Town. Students perform very well acadmecially, The school provides lots of opportunities in terms of sports and music activities. They even organise interhouse sports competitions

AISCT also has a a very good reputation. The school encourages their students to participate in extra curriculr activities.

I would advise you to check out the website and contact the schools directly if you want to arrange a visit.

Regards,

Shantalie
