Is my PPS number (received 10 years ago) still valid? Or should I apply for the new one? I had lived in Ireland for 2 years and now are thinking about coming back.

Hi Karolina,

You may need to get a new one, but only in very particular circumstances, so it's unlikely. You can check the Personal Public Service Number page on the Citizens Information site (click here for link) for more info.

Oh boy, I had one 20 years ago but have NO IDEA what it was. I didn't even think of this!
