I have been offered a role with my current company in Qatar and am discussing with my partner at the moment. We have 2 main concerns/questions so any help would be useful. 1. We are not married, is this an issue when obtaining a visa for my partner to join me in Qatar. She would be looking for work once arrived? 2. We have 2 cats, is it possible to bring them with us, do people have cats as pets in Qatar and is vet care good? Thanks James

1. Yes it will definitely be a problem. You won't be able to sponsor your partner. That being said, if your partner can find a job prior to arrival then she won't be needing your sponsorship anyways. Also, if she is a national of a country who get visa on arrival, then it shouldn't be a problem. 2. Of course there are good vets in this country and people do have cats. Certain breeds may not be allowed but you should check with the authorities on that.
