Hi,

I know this question has been asked before but wish to know the latest on this. I am being offered a role in Abu Dhabi- it is a travelling job where I would be out roughly 50% of the time. Given my friends/ relatives circle in Dubai, I was keen to settle in Dubai and travel to Abu Dhabi as and when I need to go to office. Few questions where I seek your advice:
- Is there any rule prohibiting you from buying/ renting a house in Dubai if you have work visa in Abu Dhabi?
- I heard that you have to present your house contract while applying for family resident visa. Would they create issue on a Dubai lease contract?
- Any other government/ procedural issues between Dubai and Abu Dhabi that I should be mindful of.

Really appreciate if people who have made/ not made similar choices could advice me on the above.

Thanks n regards
