My husband was offered a job w/ an annual salary of 440,000 AED 132,000 AED for housing, 3,600/month for car, some travel paid, and medical insurance provided for family. We currently live in the US. We have two school aged children & I hope to get some education paid for in the contract. I was just wondering if this is a good offer for Abu Dhabi? We are not an extravagant family but would love to be able to enjoy the area and still save while there. Thank you for any help!

Hi, Yes I think this is a good salary in AD, anything above 40k aed a month with 2 kids is good. It depends on your tastes but housing will be more that the 132k aed housing allowance, I would budget more towards the 200k mark. Not sure how much ed allowance you get but make sure you do your research there as schools can be expensive!
