Thanks for the reply Xavier. I have doubt on Accommodation. My office is near to Dubai International Airport and I am into IT support profile. I will be having rotational shifts for my job. I want to know which area in dubai will be reasonable and decent for rent b/w 3000-4000 AED/ Month and which will be near to my office. Thanks in Advance

Hi there

Whether it would be enough and whether you would get to save largely depends on the standard of living you are accustomed to, and the level of support provided by your company aside from your basic salary.

For a better idea of financial matters in the emirate, see our Cost of Living in Abu Dhabi page. I would also look at our Visas for Abu Dhabi page to get an idea of how the system works, and what your options for getting your wife into the country legally are.

Best of luck,

Xavier

You will be hand to mouth with 13500, ideally 17000 required to live comfortable for 2 persons.

Hey, For a couple to live a decent life in Dubai, i would say you will need not less than 20,000 AED total income from both, including rent in a decent place, and you would end up saving around 5,000 AED per month

As indicated above, you can get a breakdown of expenses in our Cost of Living in Dubai section, which has recently been updated.
