we are moving to Cyprus in early 2016 and would like some information on the health care in Cyprus we are both in retirement and my wife has a known medical condition

If you are both retired then you will be eligible for state health care in Cyprus. You each need to get the S1 Form from the DWP and then hand it in at the Citizens Service Centre in Cyprus and then you will be issued with a Medical Card which you show at the State Hospital. Many Expats also take out private medical care if they can afford it or feel happier having it.
