Hi there Thank you all for putting together this very helpful blog. I plan to move to Bahrain in near future (6-8 months) and currently assessing my prospects there. About myself: I am an Australian national of Pakistan origin having qualified US CPA and Chartered Accountancy with over 10 years of experience in Australia and Pakistan. What would be job prospects for me in sectors other than banks and what range of salary should I expect? I'll be moving with family (couple, one child 7 years old and 2 years old twins). What area should I be looking at to reside that is near schools (primary)? Thank you for reading and your feedback is much appreciated. Cheers...

Hey mmoozzam,

Other than oil and banking, the biggest employers in Bahrain are tourism, trade and construction. To find out more about the job market check out the Working in Bahrain page.

Hope it offers some useful insights for you.
