Background

L’École Française Internationale de Canton, established in 1997, is the only school to offer French-language and French-curriculum education in Guangzhou. The school is a non-profit institution run by a governing body of parents and teachers in partnership with the Association for French Teaching Abroad. All students from kindergarten onwards study English and Chinese in addition to their normal classes, and may opt for additional languages at senior level. The school relocated to a new campus in Tianhe, an accessible area in central Guangzhou popular with expats. There are after-school activities available throughout the week.

Curriculum

The school follows the French curriculum in partnership with the French Ministry of Education. All high school students are enrolled with the National Centre for Distance Education and graduates receive the French Baccalauréat.

Location

The school is in Tianhe in central Guangzhou, an easy drive from nearby expat areas.

Fees

Annual tuition fees for the 2023/2024 academic year range from RMB 56,100 for Pre-Kindergarten half-day to RMB 150,300 for High School. There is a once-off application fee of RMB 13,200. Additional fees apply for school lunches, bus services and extracurriculars.
