Weather in Melbourne

By Anonymous - Posted on 15 December 2009

Melbourne’s climate is fantastic and expats who relocate here will be able to enjoy plenty of days on the surrounding beaches during the warm summer months when temperatures reach around 77°F (25°C). Sometimes the city can experience heat waves too, so be prepared and make sure you have sufficient air conditioning and a swimming pool nearby! The winter months can be much colder though, and residents should kit themselves out with some good rain jackets and umbrellas as rain is common and the temperature drops to as low as 55°F (13°C) during the day.
