Weather in Paris

By symone - Posted on 03 December 2009

The Ile de France region, where Paris is located, has France's lowest rainfall but unexpected rain showers are common in the city year-round. In general the climate is pleasant for expats, and certainly more benign than London’s notoriously foul weather, from where many of Paris’ expats have fled. Summer temperatures are mild to warm, and there is the occasional heat wave, while winters are very cold with temperatures often falling below 32°F (0°C).
