Garden Tourism Festival (February)

Diwali (Festival of Lights) (November)
The Festival of Lights is India’s most popular traditional festival. Houses are decorated with earthenware lamps and candles, the sound of firecrackers echoes through the streets and the skies light up with explosive shows. It is customary at this time of year for Delhi’s residents to buy new clothing and household items, so make good use of the festival and kit yourself (and your home) out!
Republic Day Parade (January)
This parade takes place each year on the anniversary of the formation of the Indian Republic and expats will be thrilled to see the marching columns of people who represent the armed forces, while armoured vehicles, floats and dancers follow in the precession.
