Spas in Dublin

When work or culture shock is getting you down, where better to go than a spa for a gentle massage? Irish women came late to the spa business but have taken to it with gusto and it’s growing in popularity with the male of the species.

City Centre Spas

The Buff Day Spa comes recommended from the popular Irish beauty blog Beaut.ie. You can pop in after work for a Mineral Treatment; only 30 minutes or go for the full blowout with a Half Day Indulgence.

The Mandala Easter Retreat is an oasis of Asian luxury sure to bring back memories for expats moving here from Thailand or Indonesia. The Purifying Body scrub or Thai massage will soon straighten out those kinks while Mandala Man offers facials with a masculine twist.

Sticking with the international theme French Beauty offer the Brittany Mud Body Wrap and the Matisse Caviar Facial among their treatments.

Suburban Spas

La Spa Therapie caters to suburbanites in the northside beach suburbs of Malahide and Howth. Promoting Kerstin Florin products, they also offer an Eminence day from 10 am to 17.30 if you really need to get away from it all.

Over on the southern end of the city, Day Dream offers a Champagne Diva Day to people with something to celebrate. Located in Ashbourne and Terenure, they also offer Male favourites like Chest waxing and Muscle Melt Back Massage.

Pure Escape in Swords offers four hour packages including the Yummy Mummy and Pure Indulgence. The latter includes Fijian massage.

If you’re looking for the low-down on spas in your area, the Beaut.ie blog is the place to go. Join up and ask questions or search for reviews.
