Climate in Kenya

By Dave - Posted on 17 December 2009

Kenya has a tropical climate, with hot and humid conditions along the coast, a temperate climate inland and very dry conditions in the north and northeast parts of the country.

Nairobi is located at a high altitude and has a moderate climate. Summers are sunny and warm; winters mild to cool, getting cold in the evenings. There is only moderate rainfall in the late summer to autumn period , when one can expect cloudy, drizzly days.
