The number of public holiday days allocated for  Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha vary according to region; each holiday can last anywhere from 2 to 10 days.

Furthermore, during Hajj (when pilgrims visit Mecca) some businesses and most government bodies close for 10 to 14 days.
