Situated on Singapore's East Coast, OWIS is a non-denominational, multi-cultural school that provides its students with a truly international education. The curriculum follows the IB Primary years programme followed by a modified UK curriculum towards the IGCSE. Students are given individual attention within a multi-cultural setting, and the school aims to mould students into caring, confident individuals with an international mindset and respect for other cultures. Currently, the school has classes for kindergarten to Grade 8, but is expanding upwards year by year with a view to eventually offer the IGCSE and A levels in the senior school. Facilities are modern and include specialised classrooms for science and art, a multi-purpose auditorium, a well-stocked library, a tennis court, badminton and basketball courts, a large soccer field and excellent swimming facilities.

From the head teacher
“School days are some of the most important days in one’s life- shaping the sort of people we are, and providing the backdrop for lifelong learning. At OWIS we aim to offer a rich, enjoyable and lasting educational experience for students of all nationalities from two to 14 years old. With an emphasis on providing a sound structured curriculum and an experiential and inquiry approach to learning, our students grow to be confident articulate learners who are knowledgeable as well as caring, internationally minded individuals.” – Gregor Polsen, Head of School
