Background

From humble beginnings in 1967, the Lycée Français de Singapour (French School of Singapore) has gone from strength to strength. A number of donations from French companies enabled the school to move to a large, modern campus in Ang Mo Kio in the 1990s. Still growing, the school has recently opened a second campus in Serangoon for kindergarten and primary school, and now has the capacity for 2,000 students. The school follows two streams – French with English as a second language, and a French and English bilingual programme – and is supervised by the French Foreign Ministry. Sports facilities are good and there is a range of extra-curricular sports and cultural activities on offer.

Curriculum

The school follows the French national curriculum, either in French, or in bilingual classes (English and French).

Fees

Fees for the 2023/2024 school year range from SGD 11,730 a year for the Toute Petite Section up to SGD 30,120 a year in Grade 12. There are additional fees for students in the bilingual section. There is also a first-time registration fee of SGD 10,525.

The school is in central Singapore in Ang Mo Kio, a short drive from popular expat areas on the East Coast.
