Background

ACG International School, Vietnam is profit-driven IB World school in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2. The school admits children from kindergarten to Year 13 (age 3 to 18). The school has a large purpose-built campus which is fully air-conditioned, with campus-wide Wi-Fi, specialist art, science and music rooms, auditorium, music practice rooms, and a well-equipped library and media centre. 

Lessons are taught in English, although Korean, Vietnamese and Mandarin instruction is available, as well as English language support for students whose mother tongue languages aren’t English.

Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities include music (instruments, vocals) and visual arts. After-school sports include basketball, football and swimming, among others. There are also a few cultural clubs and societies, such as the school band or the film club, a student leadership programme, and various community outreach projects throughout the year.

Curriculum

The school follows a combination of British and international curriculums, starting with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), followed by the University of Cambridge International Lower Secondary Programme, including the IGCSE in Year 11. Year 12 and 13 students study the respected International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), which is internationally recognised.
