Restaurants in Geneva

Boasting more restaurants per capita than New York City, eating out in Geneva is an explosion for the senses. With fabulous local restaurants serving tradition Swiss fare like fresh fish from the lake and petit salé (salt pork) and longeole (pork sausage), expats relocating here needn’t worry – their favourite cuisine from home can be found in the city’s other restaurants where everything from Spanish and Moroccan to Vietnamese and Thai, Geneva has it all.

Head to the hotels on Quai Du Mont Blanc and Chemin du Petit Saconnex for some seriously mouth-watering French cuisine, while the Rue du Prieuré is home to one of the city’s most popular Indian restaurants and Boulevard Helvetique features plenty of cafés to choose from. Most restaurants include a 15% service charge on bills and although further tipping is unnecessary, anything extra is always appreciated.
