Kids in Bangkok

Expats who relocate to Bangkok with their kids may be concerned about the child-friendly nature of this frantic city. No need to waste too much time and energy worrying though, there are plenty of fun attractions and activities that will grab their interest.

When it’s too hot to think, take the kids to cool off at one of the city’s water parks, such as Siam Park, Leoland Water Park, or even Fantasia Lagoon. If you’re prefer something with more of an educational undertone, but no less fun, take them to meet the marine life at the Siam Ocean World, to float around with the butterflies at the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, to squirm in delight at the terrifying Snake Farm (Thai Red Cross Farm), or to meet the animals at Dusit Zoo.

Slightly older children can wander the grounds and absorb the architectural splendour of the magnificent gold buildings of the Royal Grand Palace.
