Shipping and Removals in Chicago

Chicago is both a major railway and airport hub, making shipping easier than other inland destinations. Airfreight is more expensive and has limiting weight restrictions, although goods are usually delivered in a few days as opposed to several weeks or longer by land. Goods shipped from overseas need to be unloaded from the ship, loaded onto trucks or trains and hauled to Chicago, which can be time consuming and expensive. It is a good idea to purchase insurance on expensive shipped goods, and to do so from a company other than the one used for transport. Think about renting furniture or living in fully furnished rentals.
