Background
The Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) is attended by 1,000 students. Around a quarter of the school's attendees are Canadian, with its diverse student body being home to children hailing from 60 different countries around the world. Teaching is in English, with Mandarin, French and Korean available as subjects.
CISB is fully accredited to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes (Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma) as well as the Canadian curriculum of the province of New Brunswick. The latter is an outcomes-based system which is praised for its depth, breadth and overall quality.
