Background

Opened in August 2018, Avenues São Paulo is the second global campus of Avenues The World School, serving students from the age of one to 18. The Avenues São Paulo campus is a 40,000 square metre, state-of-the-art educational facility, complete with extensive athletics and outdoor play areas, an expansive covered courtyard, and a sunny parent café.

Avenues São Paulo comprises the Primary Division (from a year old to 5th grade) and the Secondary Division (from 6th through 12th grade). Students enjoy frequent opportunities to collaborate with their peers at Avenues' campuses in New York, Shenzhen, Silicon Valley and Online, whether digitally or in-person on an international programme. Avenues São Paulo takes Brazilian educational standards as seriously as international ones, with an integrated Brazilian programme incorporating the national curriculum.

Curriculum

Supporting students to become empathetic, world-wise leaders is core to Avenues’ mission and is reflected in their curriculum. Their in-house Research and Development team exists to perform cutting-edge educational research, foster the development of innovative programs and provide support to their faculty, while furthering the cause of education around the world.

An interdisciplinary, project-based curriculum connects learning to the real world and requires students to apply what they’ve learned in concrete and creative ways. They take a student-centred approach to learning that promotes choice and agency, giving students a voice and allowing them to discover their passions. Their growing network of campuses also enables students from around the globe to collaborate with one another.

Avenues graduates students with a global perspective grounded in creative, analytical and innovation-
based thinking that sets them up for success in tomorrow’s world.

Fees

Fees for the 2023/2024 academic year range from BRL 109,300 for Small World 1s and 2s to BRL 185,850 for Nursery to Grade 12. Tuition is payable with an initial deposit of BRL 28,000, and the balance is divided into equal monthly payments. 

Parents should note that there is an application fee of BRL 420.
