"Language learning is an important part of life for students at ISA Science City. We offer five language learning pathways for students aged two to 18. All students from Early Childhood to Secondary School learn English and Chinese on a level that best suits their ability. Our mother-tongue programme provides after-school language classes to support the maintenance of languages other than English and Chinese.

Curriculum

Early Childhood Learning Centre

Inspired by the philosophy of world-renowned Reggio Emilia early-childhood teaching, and strengthened by the IB Primary Years Programme standards and practices, the Science City Early Childhood Learning Centre provides both structured and unstructured elements to best suit learning at these special grade levels.

Primary School

In the primary school, the school's learning programme is built around each child as a unique individual, with every student recognised for possessing their own abilities, experiences and interests. Crucial to their learning development is the utilisation of the IB Primary Years Programme, a framework for ISA's education that meets the highest of international education standards.

Secondary School

As an aspiring IB World School, the school aims to provide the final two core programmes of the International Baccalaureate. For Grades 6 to 10, all students will undertake a rigorous programme of study across the eight subject areas mandated within the IB Middle Years Programme. In Grades 11 and 12, our students will undertake the most globally recognised programme of study, as we aim to provide the IB Diploma Programme.

ISA Science City is located in Yushu Road, Science City, Huangpu District, a 25-minute drive from the CBD of Guangzhou. With a construction area of 78,000 square metres and contemporary designs by international architects, ISA Science City is an exemplary school in China and internationally, providing a high quality education for international students in the Greater Bay Area.

Fees

For the 2023/2024 academic year, annual fees range from RMB 220,000 for Early Years 1 and 2, to RMB 328,000 for Grade 11. There is a non-refundable once-off application fee of RMB 3,000 and a refundable admissions fee of RMB 30,000.
