Background
This small school of around 90 pupils offers bilingual teaching in English and French or in Swedish and French. Situated in the eco-friendly neighbourhood of Les Verges, the school is surrounded by nature and has easy access to a lake, swimming pool, ice rink and sports fields.
The teaching staff is made up of about 25 teachers. This high ratio of teachers to students means that plenty of individual attention is given to each child. To facilitate bilingual learning, the school operates on a 'one language, one teacher' principle. This means that there are two teachers per class at all times, each of whom teaches only in their language.
