What is a typical start up cost for furnishings and appliances in Abu Dhabi. We will not be shipping any furniture or household goods to Abu Dhabi and will need everything to furnish a villa. Also is renting furniture reasonable?

Hi carron smoak, We are in a similar situation as yourselves except we are likely to go for a 3 bed appartment rather than a villa. Looking at IKEA online, it seems we can furnish our flat (not including soft furnishings) for beterrnm 15-20k AED including mattresses, pillows etc but excluding rugs/throws/curtains. No idea about furniture rental! Sorry!
