Male Primary Teaching in Abu Dhabi

Hi, I am a married father of 3 from Ireland who is thinking of relocating to Abu Dhabi with my family. Can you please tell me what the opportunites are like for male primary school teachers. I have registered with two agaencies but they seem to be only interested in female primary teachers. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Colin

Colin, that may be because ADEC(Abu Dhabi Education Council) is trying to feminise grades 1-5. Meaning they are only hiring female teachers for these grades. You may want to look into teaching for some of the private schools here. I would suggest looking at the following as alternatives to teaching with ADEC:
Raha International School
GEMS American Academy
British School Al Khubairat
Brighton College
American International School of Abu Dhabi
Glenelg School

Hi look up the schools web sites they have sections for recruitment... Hope this helps, there is jobs there alright.
