MOVING TO DUBAI WITH THE FAMILY

We will be moving to THE GREEN COMMUNITY WEST, DUBAI by the middle of August, just wondered how we can meet some new friends

Lots of options to join a group in Dubai and meet people quite quickly. Try:
Socialcirclesuae.com - probably the most diverse and well defined online group, hosting events locally and interactive ice breakers to all attendees. It supports your interests so that you join groups with your special hobbies and meet others that share that same interest.
Duplays.com - is a sports league where you can play almost anything on a weekly basis for 10 weeks. That's a great way to either learn a new sport or connect with other people.
Volunteersindubai.com since they find volunteers for all the non-profits in one place.
There's also business groups for people of all nationalities, just search the Internet...and MeetUp and Internations groups organised through social media networks (namely Facebook). Just get googling, and you should come up with plenty of opportunities in the near future.
