Hi Ankit,

The expats being employed in Hong Kond can earn anything between HKD 18,000 and HKD 100,000 per month depending on their experience and field of expertise. The fact that your accomodation is also paid for by the employer is also a bonus because a one-bedroom place in Hong Kong would set you back at least HKD 10,000. Take a look at this article for more information - Salaries for expats in Hong Kong.

The amount of money you save will depend on your lifestyle. The cost of living in Hong Kong is notoriously high. There is a lot to do and great lots of opportunities to eat out and socialise, but none of it comes cheap. Take a look at the Expat Arrival's page on the Cost of Living in Hong Kong to get a better idea of the expenses you are likely to occue whilst living in Hong Kong.

I hope these pages clarify a few things for you. Best of luck with the move.
