Hi ApurvBreja,

This siuation is a little complicated. Remeber that obtaining a work permit and residence permit are tied to your employer. It is not easy to move jobs in Dubai.

In many cases, due to the fact that the employer pays for your visa and does all the paperwork, they add a clause into your contract banning you from taking up a job in the same industry for a year. I advise you to check the contract you've signed to see wear you stand.

Also, in order to change jobs or accept another offer the first employer will need to give you a formal document called a No Objection Clause and you will need to have your visa reprocessed.

Have a read of the Expat Arrivals pages on Working in Dubai and Work Permits for Dubai to get a better idea of the situation.

Good luck.
