There is a newly implemented Qatari Law (trying desperately to find the Decree #, but can't) that raises the salary requirement from QR 7,500 to QR 10,000 (per month) in order to sponsor a family member. You will also need to have a bank account opened in Qatar for, at least, 6 months.
