Hi there, if you’re in possession of a residence work permit for Qatar and you earn over 7000 QAR per month you can legally sponsor your family for a residence visa. You'll need to submit a number of documents to the Ministry of Labour in Qatar. To read more about what documents you need and for further general info about visas, check out our Visas for Qatar page.

There is a newly implemented Qatari Law (trying desperately to find the Decree #, but can't) that raises the salary requirement from QR 7,500 to QR 10,000 (per month) in order to sponsor a family member. You will also need to have a bank account opened in Qatar for, at least, 6 months.
