Expats moving to Delhi in the longer term might consider sending their child to a private school. The language of instruction at private schools in India is English and the standard of teaching is excellent. Sending expat kids to a private school also encourages intergration by allowing them to interact with local children and embrace more of the local culture. However, children at Indian private schools are under a lot of pressure to achieve high grades, something which foreign students may not be accustomed to.
