Expats will love the fantastic climate in Barcelona with warm, sunny weather in summer and cooler winters. However, in August the heat becomes almost unbearable and expats may want to take a break from the city and head to the coast for a bit. The average high in summer can reach 82°F (29°C) and winter doesn’t usually get any colder than 55°F (13°C).
