Background
A truly global school, the American School of Paris is made up of students from 60 countries around the world. More than 30 mother-tongue languages are spoken by students. Though teaching is in English, the school has an extensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme. Under this programme, children up to 10 years old who don't speak any English are eligible to apply to the school. Learning support services are also available.
Students graduate with either the American High School Diploma (including Advanced Placement subjects) or the International Baccalaureate. Past graduates have been accepted at a number of prestigious institutions all over the world, including New York University (United States), McGill University (Canada) and King's College London (United Kingdom).
The American School of Paris has a rolling admissions policy and accepts applications all year round.
