Hello,

I'm all ready to move from Belgium to Sweden in mid November, but I am looking for a furnished studio or apartment to rent permanently. I'm looking for an apartment between Uppsala and Lulea. I am a calm and intellectual woman, 59 years old. Important: I would like to find accommodation with public transport close by, and rent 5000 krona.

I hope your search is going well. Have you tried out online portals with property listings? I believe that Bostad Direkt and Residensportalen are quite popular but there are many more.

Expat Arrivals has some useful pages on Accommodation in Sweden and Accommodation in Stockholm which give info on the renting process and how best to find accommodation. We recommend networking too – have you spoken with any contacts or agents in Uppsala or Lulea?
