Hi abdullajan2011

This is a tricky situation as both the UAE and Qatar are members of the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC). If you are blacklisted in Dubai because of a debt, and there is a warrant for your arrest, you might still be prosecuted in Qatar because member countries of the GCC share similar laws when it comes to debt.

However, the best thing to do would be to check your status as a blacklisted individual with the authorities in the UAE and try to find out if the reason you were blacklisted could get you into trouble in a country other than the UAE.

I hope this has helped somewhat, but it is a difficult situation to asses without more detail.

Regards

Candice

Guys I wish someone would differentiate and answer clearly/directly. There is a diference between being deported and being wanted. Anonymous has claimed in the comments that he's deported and says we can definitely goto Qatar/Oman etc. but that's a dangerous speculation. Would anyone who is wanted for debt etc (not deported) confirm that he/she has been to other GCC countries? I have debt cases and a job oppurtunity in Qatar. Please only answer if you are wanted not deported. Thanks folks

The Gulf cooperation council (GCC) is an intergovernmental economic and political union of gulf countries, also known as Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Its member states are the Islamic States of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE). This council is a union of the above mentioned states made for protecting the interests of these states and to provide a single platform for the discussion and solution of various issues that these countries may encounter, and to empower them. Among the many things that the GCC overlooks and regulates, one such policy is the banning and deporting of expatriates living and working in any of the Gulf States when they are found to be involved in any unlawful act.
