I was working in Saudi Arabia since June '14 with Business visa for valid of 3 months. Till April, I have three valid business visas. In the month of April, I was suppose to travel to india for exit. My visa is valid till 11th April, 2015. And I traveled on 12th April'14. At the airport in Riyadh, the immigration authority catch me told me inform company that you are illegal. Our PRO came and they paid or not paid penalty and sent me back to india on 2nd May'15 and it is clean exit. My company decided to give work visa. And I have completed all formalities and traveled back to Saudi on 9th July'15. At the immigration, I have given my finger prints, passport everything. They check there system and told me that your illegal. I have informed my company PRO and he came to airport. Immigration authorities told to PRO that my name was linked with someone who did some crime in past. They thought that, I am that guy and make me as illegal. And they deport me. After I reach india, my company tried to remove that link. They removed from Ministry of labours, jawazzat. But they finally not able to remove that link from immigration system. I am not able to travel now, due to above this issue. Could you please let me know, is there any way to check the status or remove that link. Your opinion is welcome. !!

Hi Mostafa

This is what I know for sure. It would be possible to enter Qatar with the exit/re-entry visa. You would, however, not be able to re-enter Saudi Arabia as you will be considered an absconder who did not fulfill his contract. This might be deliberate on the company's part as they might not want you to work for a local competitor.

From what I can tell, you would probably be able to enter Qatar on a visitor's visa but might have some problems getting permanent residence and a work permit.

The safest option is to return to your home country and let your KSA permits expire, which will ensure you won't have problems entering another country.

If the job offer has to be taken immediately, you have several options. You can either ask your employer to check the regulations regarding this (possibly risky considering Qatar also has a kafala system) or perhaps check with your nearest Qatari consulate.

Have a look at our Visas for Qatar and Visas for Saudi Arabia pages to get a little more information.

Good luck, I hope everything works out.

Best wishes,

Xavier

I have a re entry visa to saudi Arabia but there is a good opportunity to qatar. Do i have any problem entering the other country if I have a re entry visa?

You'll probably have to get the re-entry visa cancelled first but I'm not 100% sure if this is the case if you're moving from one GCC country to another. Get in touch with your local Qatar embassy to be sure.
