Hi

My wife got an offer through a consulting agency for a goverment visa to work in HK as a staff nurse. They are offering a family, so she can bring a spouse as well. Salary is HKD 21,000.

My question is, is there any visa like that you can get after arriving in Hong Kong through an agency, which will allow you to work.

Also, please can someone clarify how much a staff nurse should earn as a basic salary in Hong Kong ?

Thanks.

As a spouse, you will be covered under a dependent visa and this will enable you to work. HKD 21000 is quite low, and you will likely have to also work to help support the family.
