my husband is 63 i am 58 we are moving permanently to Farmagusta in May 2017 to retire....we bought a house there 5 years ago my question is what do we do about prescription medication as my husband is on drugs daily for medical condition....do we need private health care??? or is there another way???

Hi Jessica,

What nationalities are you and your husband? If you're EU citizens, you should be able to get free or subsidised healthcare. Either way, you may want to arrange private insurance if your husband has a chronic condition, either as an addition to EU health insurance or instead of it, if you don't have it.
