Hello I would be relocating to Oman and my employer does not provide for health insurance. Could someone advice the approximate cost of the following insurances per year 1) Comprehensive Health Insurance 2) Dental Insurance Would be grateful to get some kind of indication. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Revathi, It does not sound like your employer's benefit plan is competitive. You would need to consider whether you require local, regional, or international coverage. Obviously, local would be the most economical. Local and regional coverage could be procured from local insurance underwriters. Coverage for incidental treatment outside of Oman would also be a consideration. Dental coverage would be expensive. Even where it is provided, the limits would be relatively low. You should, therefore, consider whether you even need that or would pay for the treatment from your own pocket when you need it. Hope this helps.
