I have got a new job offer in Abu Dhabi with a basic salary: 8500 AED including accomodation (provided by company), yearly Air ticket, 30 days paid leave yearly, life insurance and medical treatment plus monthly transporation allowance. Currently, I am working in Saudi Arabia and my salary is 6000 SR plus Accomodation, food and transportation (provided by company. I am saving arround 5000 Sr on monthly basis. Is it possible to save the same amount in Abu Dhabi as per the above mentioned offer?? Awiting for your feedback!!! Thank you in advance for the assistance.

Salary: 20,000 AED per month (Including HRA) Vacation: 30 calendar days per year CME 5 CME Days per year Airline Ticket: One return economy Airline ticket for self every year Insurance: Medical Insurance coverage for self.... I think it is not a good deal.... what is your openion?

Hi Hassancheaib, a salary of 8500 AED for Abu Dhabi is not very lucrative. The cost of living in the emirate is pretty steep so yuor ability to save much might be limited, That said, the fact that your accommodation is taken care of might help somewhat, although transport is another factor you would need to consider. Public transport in Abu Dhabi leaves much to be desired and you may have to consider purchasing a vehicle to get around Abu Dhabi. Hi Catherine!! Thanks for your assistance, i think that I am going to refuse the offer unless they will adjust my basic salary. Do you have an idea about vehicle prices for ex: Toyata corolla or Nissan Sunny??? Regards, Hassan
